AMTA was founded by Guralambir Singh (Alex) who is a Bollywood and Melbourne based Film Maker, Theatre Director and Screen Writer. The organisation has been serving the Australian multicultural community since 2014 and is three times government awarded entity. The main aim of the organisation is to promote multiculturalism and fight social issues through the art of Theatre. AMTA has performed and given some successful theatre shows and musicals, Australia-wide, to name few , “Goddess of Hindustan” “Jo Larre Deen Ke Het” “Moga To Melbourne” “Sidak” and the list goes on. AMTA has been recognised and honoured by other renowned organisations like White Ribbon Australia, Sikh Genocide Remembrance March and Crime Stoppers.
For years of proven service, AMTA has produced and served as an initial platform to many renowned artists in the field of Films ,Tv and Theatre industry. Apart from its home production every year, AMTA also has co produced and collaborated with other community organisations.
As the motto says, “We Perform To Reform”, the organisation has always fought for the social issues such as women abuse, mental health, basic human rights, old age abundance , all with an ultimate aim to make a safer and better community to live in.
